Spring Tangerine Takeover.

I admit, I do not own a single piece of clothing in my closet that is even the slightest hint of orange.
Yet it seems like I am seeing more and more editorials and designers are using this color, perhaps it is to mix in with the go-to trend this spring of neon colors?...

From neon orange at Prada and Moschino C&C, to burnt orange at Michael Kors and Ferregamo, to me, it seems like an overdose on orange. Maybe I just haven't found the perfect shade of orange to wear, which is why I do not own any piece of clothing in this color. Perhaps it is this upcoming season that I give this neglected shade of color a second chance. I think that out of all of these fabulous orange shades, the Proenza Schouler fluorescent orange t-shirt dress that model, Karolina Kurkova, is wearing is my favorite and first choice. Yet, I am starting to love that J.Mendel minimalism outfit worn my model, Fei Fei Sun, with the different shades of orange for the long sleeved blouse and the skirt, and then paired with those orange ankle-ribboned flats. Yes, I think I may have just found the perfect orange outfit to try on and perhaps, fall in love with...
So tell me, what are your thoughts on wearing this color?

Hi, there!

Thank you for the sweet message today! Following:)

I work at a clothing boutique and we recently got a bright orange dress. It almost hurts my eyes to look at. While I don't think the color would look great on me, people have raved about this dress. I really didn't expect it!

I love the dress in the second photo. It's really cool and I think definitely a little more wearable for me.

Have a lovely day!

Such a beautiful colour!! I used to think that having pale skin meant I couldn't wear these sorts of neon brights, but I actually think that the pop of bright fluro-orange looks stunning next to really white skin. I guess it suits all skin tones really! I can't wait to try out some of these looks. Nice posts, I'm a follower :-)

I am a huge fan of orange. In fact, I was comtemplating changing the name of my blog to "Orange Goes With Everything" because I wear it so much. I love, and wear, all shades of orange from burnt orange (my favorite scarf) to coral-orange (new sandals). So, I'm very, very happy to hear that orange is 'in' because there will be more on the market.

Orange can be such an IN YOUR FACE color but I'm liking the way designers are easing into collections. I'll admit, I've been wearing it muted for some time.
