Where could I possibly begin describing these completely frivolous photos I recently took. Well, I suppose I would not think these photos would be as random if I removed the last two photos...
I suppose the only explanation for this completely off topic post is that I wanted to share these practice closeup test shots since I am currently having an ongoing debate with myself on whether or not I should get a new camera lens. In describing these photos, I guess I will start off with the extremely odd photo out of the group. I usually do not drink any carbonated drinks, even carbonated water, but Canada Dry is an exception of mine, along with Sprite/7-Up. The one silver ring in the photos above was a recent purchase of mine at my favorite one-of-a-kind jewellery store on St. Denis during a shopping excursion a couple weeks ago. The other ring with the teardrop-like jagged details is also from the same place. I have a weakness for classic silver jewellery pieces with a slight contemporary twist. I am always slightly heartbroken when a favorite piece of jewellery of mine is misplaced and lost forever, and for some reason, the more I spend on jewellery, or anything for that matter, I tend to keep a better eye on it not disappearing. I love my Gucci vintage bag stolen from my mother's closet. If I could, I would completely raid her closet for other vintage bags, but seeing as how she lives a plane ride away, I will have to deal with "borrowing" one bag at a time then! The first photo in this post is a close-up of this lace vest I recently purchased from my absolute favorite vintage store in Montreal. I never leave that store empty handed, and always want to buy everything in the store. I was instantly drawn to that vest when I found it because of the great fringe detailing around the edge of the lace. I believe that the storeowner said that it was from the 50s. I can not wait to share with you all an outfit photo with this lace piece, but I am still waiting out for that warm weather before I can wear it out. Random photos and my awkwardly weird and long rambling aside, I am excited for this weekend which is forecast to be snow and rain free! Perfect shopping weather? I think so!

I love the rings! =o)
I used to drink Canada dry all the time when I was younger. It's a great beverage when you have an upset stomach, as well. xD Ahem.
Yay for good weather coming up. =o)

Beautiful rings! I like how the seemingly insignificant aereated drink can can be turned into the beautiful subject in a photograph. Want to see more randomness. It's pretty fun...
Great photos! You do good work with the macro - it's tough to get crisp, focused shots like that.
