Completely chic, yet slightly rustic perfection...
Each look that Erin Wasson is wearing for this photo shoot in Elle France's June 2011 issue is completely unique and effortless, yet makes absolute sense. The unconventional addition of sequin shorts with the open knit sweater is inspiring to wear similar shorts during the day without looking too ridiculous. The inspiring idea of wearing a white blazer in a completely casual and cool look, such as the pairing of the Maison Martin Margiela satin white blazer with the sleeves rolled up and paired with the floral print D&G knickers. I love the extremely vintage-looking ankle boots and all of the fabulously styled accessories and piling of Low Luv by Erin Wasson jewellery. Of course, I see myself finding another pair of leather shorts that are as lust-worthy as the others, and these ones are from non-other than 3.1 Phillip Lim. The quilted stitching for those black leather shorts... understated perfection in the details. There are so many inspiring edgy looks that I am in a slightly overwhelmed state, and may need to analyze these photos over and over again to be able to understand it all.
