Inspired by Alexa Chung's effortlessly put together looks.
It seems like simplicity is key to the casualness of Alexa's day-to-day looks. I am loving the preppy-casual look in the second photo with the white blouse and the black tuxedo-like blazer, and the unexpected put togetherness pairing of denim cut-off shorts. Loving those sunglasses that Alexa is wearing in quite a few of the photos. Her Arctic Monkeys tee also reminds me of the brilliant concert I saw of them in Montreal earlier this summer. I can not believe how quickly summer is ending. On another note, I will be walking along Boulevard Saint-Laurent and Avenue du Mont-Royal (a.k.a. the Plateau) tomorrow to possibly do some much needed retail therapy. The Plateau area is most likely my favorite place in Montreal to spend the day eating, shopping and people watching. Let us hope for no more of that Hurricane Irene-type of weather again during a planned outing to shop and eat along those streets!

Great selection of pictures. She really has an amazing style. I personally love the second picture the best. I think the blazer gives her casual look a bit of elegant touch and the chanel bag takes the whole outfit on another level.

I went to Montreal last summer and spent the day on Mont-Royal shopping! They pulled stuff outside from all the stores & where having sales everywhere. It was def. one of my best days there!
