Skinnies Galore.

In this fall 2011 issue of V Magazine, I love the somewhat broad spectrum of skinnies that Anja Rubik is wearing in a way like a true glam rockstar.

Who knew that intense glitter eyeshadow could look completely not ridiculous? Maybe it is due to the understated-ness of the rest of the all-black look and the black hat adding a slight mysterious vibe, which helps to give the unexpectedly sparkling eyelids a unique contrast. From this editorial, I have decided to find as many pairs of skinnies in different textures and patterns similar to the ones from this shoot. I can not deny how much I adore those silver metallic Etro skinnies, and the surprisingly casualness of the trousers when paired with an Isabel Marant knitted sweater. You most definitely can not go wrong with a great pair of black leather skinnies, and with this pair worn by Anja being Louis Vuitton, surely the slightly subtle detailing is absolutely exquisite and should not go unnoticed. Those black fringe Isabel Marant boots -- I need to add it to my too long of a list of pieces I need from Isabel Marant. It is an ongoing list that seems like it will never end. Of course, we must not forget about those sequin-dipped Alexander Wang skinnies that I think everyone should be obsessing about, and wearing, for fall/winter. Agree to disagree. There is definitely nothing wrong with a classic pair of denim or black skinnies, but a nice unique pair could be so special and perfect.
