Food-aholic.

What my day consisted of:  Food, Drinks, Lazing Around.

Definitely not complaining over how the day turned into a sort of adventure through the Plateau and Atwater area for food and grassy areas to sit down and do absolutely nothing. I have never eaten so many different desserts all in one day. Macarons, fondant au chocolat, mango-framboise-vanille sorbet and cupcakes... Somehow I am still not sick of sweets. The day also started off with brunch at my favorite restaurant, L'Avenue. Still obsessing and trying to figure out the ingredients to those addictive and delicious potatoes that I can not get enough of. It may be best that I frequent this restaurant more often so that I could at least have the chance to sample other choices off of their menu, yet I absolutely adore eating the fluffy French toast that also seems to be impossible to remake at home. Just realizing the ridiculous amount of food that I ate is making me want to jump back into that daily gym routine which I have been completely neglecting all summer. More delicious food = more gym time. I admit it, that I am definitely a food-aholic and living so close to all of these restaurants and patisseries is not helping this addiction!

For French toast, I always add a splash of OJ to the egg/milk/cinnamon mixture. It gives it a little pizazz!

Wow that first picture looks amazing!!

We have the exact same dish here in a cute local cafe except that the ice cream is put right next to the muffin so that the hot chocolate and the ice merge... mmm, it's so good :))
Oh and here it's called, "Death by chocolate" :)) A pretty sweet death :p
