Toronto Photo Diary.

A jam-packed weekend consisting of a schedule that worked around eating (more about that in a later post!).

Weather in Toronto this past weekend was slightly warmer than Montreal, yet I could still feel the crisp autumn air. Before leaving, I realized that I still do not completely understand the concept of "light-packing". I came to the obvious conclusion that packing basics would be the easiest choice. I spent one afternoon rekindling my childhood by going to the Toronto Zoo and became mesmerized by the butterflies fluttering around in the one exhibit. I am still trying to grasp the daunting amount of walking that was done this past weekend. Surprisingly, I did not completely collapse from walking exhaustion in the first few hours, I suppose it is because I was constantly distracted by my frequent blabbering and taking photographs of everything in plain sight. I definitely think that aimlessly wandering around a city is the best way to explore. One of my favorite streets that I walked along (a lot) was Queen Street West. This street kind of reminds me of Montreal's Boulevard Saint-Laurent, which for a quick second, gave me a hint of home-sickness. There were many unique and cool people along this street, which includes this adorable Asian lady in a denim chapeau handing out fliers of some sort. Thank goodness the weather in Toronto was co-operating this weekend. Not exactly sure where all the energy came from for me to last this weekend on a maximum of 3 or 4 hours of sleep every night. I just never want to waste a moment of time when I am on vacation to a place I do not frequent enough, and yet there is so much to see and do. More about food and drinks, and anything else I may have forgotten to mention, shortly.

I've developed a full on crush on your bag and your hair is so shiny!!! Those shots of the butterflies are so sweet. They're beautiful, just as the architecture is. Great post. Look forward to seeing more.
