There seems to be a little bit of everything this New York Fashion Week F/W 2011 with the feminine-grunge look. To not completely overwhelm you all with all of my favorite looks so far during NYFW, I will overwhelm you with my favorites from 6 designers. So many different looks to choose from...
Those two Rag & Bone looks in the above photos are amazing. I need that fur-lined hooded vest ASAP. That beige-white jacket and dress combo is perfection as well. I am loving those thigh-high socks and those white pants with the red striped detailing.
In the above photos of my favorite looks from Vena Cava's F/W 2011 collection, she knew exactly what I was looking for for the fall/winter grunge trend, slightly feminine and minimalistic, yet oh-so-perfect. The cropped tops with just enough hint of skin with the maxi-skirts and high-waisted pants... I love it all.
A lovely collection from Jenni Kayne. Less grunge- more perfectly feminine-chic pieces. The lace is absolutely beautiful. And that (faux?) fur hat.. I need it.
Nicholas K's collection has me wanting the grungier, the better, and still looking so chic. That black coat with the fur hooded trim is so perfect, I think I have found the coat to save me from the cold winters, yet still looking chic. And then there is that beautiful grey Nicholas K outfit with the most perfect chunky-knit sweater I have ever seen....
I am loving the leather sleeve detail at the Nicole Miller F/W 2011 show. I love leather details like that, whether it is leather pocket detail, sleeve detail, love it all. Those metallic pieces are kind of amazing-- when paired with dark neutral colors and a pop of color, it is indeed a perfect outfit.
Peter Som's collection is making me crave for a great pair of metallic blue skinnies and those shoes in every color possible. The slightly bouffant hairstyle is so effortless, yet put-together. Great shoes, great hair, great pants, what more could you possibly ask for?
