New Favorite Blouse.

If I could buy one in every possible color, I would.

Apologies for the very rare, yet sporadic personal outfit posts, and the awkwardness of the photos. I am still trying to experiment the best approach to shooting these outfit posts without constantly harassing friends. It has been hectically busy even though I have been back in Montreal for a little over two weeks. I had an unplanned shopping trip (aren't those the best!) a few days ago on Boulevard Saint-Laurent and managed to find the perfect little boutique called, Héritage. The boutique basically carried just about every article of minimalistic, yet understatedly chic everyday-wearable clothing that I have been looking for. I definitely wanted to buy everything in the store, but I managed to convince myself that I will be visiting this store religiously, so I decided to buy only one item. It was pure torture contemplating which item I should take home, but I finally decided on this blouse that first caught my attention when I walked into the store. The obscurity of the brands that the store carries is also something that caught my interest, and the fact that most of the clothes seemed to be from labels Made in Korea. I decided to wear my new blouse for a casual dinner and drinks with friends, and took the "classic" approach by pairing it with my only pair of blue jeans (which I could practically live in because they are so comfortable), from DL1961.

I absolutely love this blouse - adore the shoulder detail - great classic and chic find. Is it silk? Is it petite fit friendly - do they ship to UK lol! It seriously needs to be in my closet! :-)

Hey! I actually really like the semi-awkward photos! I wrote two posts that might help you take your own pictures (you can find them both here: http://restonstyle.blogspot.com/search/label/photo%20tips
I am also working on a guide on how to do self portraits with a point and shoot too! I really love photography and it's given me a good project to work on!

Need one in every colour here too, love it :)
I hate the akqwardness - am I spelling that right? - of my own outfit posts, but it's part of my "job" right now, so I do it anyway. Really liked your approach, very "arty"

Loving your blog. Very stylish! Also, I recently bought something like this as well (just in a bright mustard yellow;) and I predict that it's going to be one of my go-to blouses. Also, I can completely relate to the awkwardness of taking outfit shots. It is something I'm still trying to get used to!
